#HelloYellow World Mental Health Day 10th October

Get your school or friends to take part in the #HelloYellow Campaign for World Mental Health Day 2023 and support YoungMinds Charity in raising awareness and donations to support young people’s mental health.

How do I take part in #HelloYellow?

By wearing yellow this World Mental Health Day on 10 October, and donating what you can, you can show young people that you’re with them, that young people deserve to get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.

This year’s #HelloYellow theme is to ‘stand out and show up for young people’s mental health’. Are you in?

“Dig out your neon socks, custard scarf and banana hat – let’s stand out and show up for young people’s mental health.”

Things you can do:

  • Wear something yellow to school
  • Ask staff to wear yellow and donate £2 on the day.
  • Decorate your desk yellow.
  • Share #HelloYellow on social media
  • Post a selfie of you in a funny yellow outfit to your friends
  • Go to the YoungMinds website and download their #HelloYellow fundraising resource pack
