Information, Advice and sources of support for young people in Suffolk

Day 4 What's Up Challenge - Tell someone how you're feeling (are you worried, stressed or anxious?)

Why is this good for your emotional health and wellbeing?

It’s good to be open about our feelings. Keeping things bottled up can be unhealthy if you don’t talk to someone.
How many times have you said you’re OK, when asked, but really you are not!

Try talking to a friend or relative about how you are feeling – not everyone will understand what you are going through, but letting your feelings out will help release tension, and not feel alone with your thoughts.
Talking is also the best form of therapy because when we share our thoughts and feelings with someone we trust it helps us to find solutions to problems and remove negative thoughts that may be causing us to feel uneasy or stressed.

How to complete this challenge?

Share a thought or feeling that’s been playing on your mind with a trusted adult, friend or relative.
