If you said yes to both of these questions then do you fancy taking part in our ‘Journey’s’ art exhibition?
What is the Journey’s theme about?
The theme of the art exhibition is about ‘Life’s Journey’s’.
Your artwork should capture a:
- Physical or mental journey,
- Challenge that you have overcome or are overcoming,
How can I take part?
Creative entries can be in the form of:
- Artwork – drawing, painting or doodle
- Photography (if you send in a photo of yourself or another person you will need toe complete a photo permissions form which we will send you when receiving your photo.)
- Creative writing or spoken word pieces (MAX 500 words)
Plus you must include a small paragraph to go with your artwork to explain your journey.
Come along to our Art, Photography and Spoken Word Group Session
We are hosting an art, photography and spoken word piece group session for young people involved in children’s services, to produce creative entries for the Journey’s exhibition competition.
The session will be held on Thursday 27th August, from 12pm to 2.30pm, at Endeavour House, Ipswich IP1 2BX.

All artwork we receive will be displayed as part of a special exhibition at Suffolk County Council, Endeavour House, Ipswich, during October half term on Tuesday 27th October to Thursday 29th October, which will celebrate the experiences and creativity of young people in Suffolk.
There are three age groups for artwork entries – 8-14year olds, 15-18year olds, and 19-25year olds.
Please confirm your full name and age, and a contact number we can reach you on when submitting your artwork.
There will be prize winners for the best voted artwork
1st place voted artwork from each age group will receive a £50 voucher
2nd place voted artwork from each age group will receive a £20 voucher
This competition is only open to children and young people who have been supported by children’s services.
Deadline for artwork entries is 30 September 2026.
Winners will be notified before the 28th October 2026.
