Children & young people in Suffolk told us how adults can support them best, be they a teacher, social worker, doctor, nurse, mental health practitioner or any other type of worker whose role sees them interacting or supporting children and young people in some way.
The “Ideal Worker” resources were created with the Children & Young People, Action & Transformation (CAT) Network, by a group of young people who had experiences of mental health services in Suffolk. We worked with them to understand the qualities they value in the adults and professionals who support them and positively impact their lives.
