School Nursing Team

How can the School Nursing Team help me?

Young people throughout Suffolk aged 11-19, can contact a Suffolk school nurse to ask for confidential help and advice on all kinds of health issues. Including:

  • Sexual health
  • Emotional health and wellbeing
  • Bullying
  • Healthy eating
  • Smoking, drugs and alcohol
  • Self harm
  • General health concerns

How do I contact a school nurse?

You can contact a Suffolk school nurse confidentially by calling 0345 607 8866
Or you can email them at: childrenshealth@suffolk.gov.uk 

The service is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm, excluding bank holidays.

We do not inform your parents or teachers that you contacted a school nurse – unless we are concerned about your safety, but we will ask permission from you first.
