Hygge is about taking time out to be together with people you care about – or even by yourself – to enjoy life’s quiet and cosy moments.
Why is this good for your emotional health and wellbeing?
When we are in an environment where we feel cosy, warm, comfortable, and safe we are able to let our guard down and relax.
How to complete this challenge?
Look at how you can make your bedroom/space more cosy for you and your friends to relax in.
1. Dim the lights or put up fairy lights or you could put on a galaxy light projector.
2. Gather some cosy blankets you can snuggle under.
3. Put your warmest socks, your cosiest hoodie and PJ trousers on.
4. Gather together comfy colourful cushions or bean bags to sit on and cuddle.
5. Put on some chilled background music
6. Enjoy a warm snack/drink
7. And chill 🙂
