Advent 30 Day What's Up Challenge 16 - Go for a walk to see Christmas lights

Why is this good for your emotional health and wellbeing?

Going for a walk to see all your neighbours Christmas lights can be good for our mental health as according to science, bright, colourful lights trigger something known as Chromotherapy (color therapy) which boosts our energy levels and increases our happiness meter – Is this why we get that magical feeling when we see pretty lights at night!

How to complete this challenge

Take a walk with friends or family (don’t go out alone, stay safe) to see some Christmas lights – in your neighbourhood or around town. You could also put up some pretty lights in your bedroom.
