Advent 30 Day Challenge 13 - How nice have you been this year?

Why is this good for your emotional health and wellbeing?

When we’re under a lot of stress or pressure we may say something unkind, or even lash out in anger to someone we care about. You may have said something unkind to a teacher or classmate.
We all make thoughtless mistakes from time to time by saying unkind words to others. This time of year is a good time for a heartfelt apology so that you can begin the New Year with a fresh start to your relationships and friendships with others.
Owning up to our mistakes is also important for our own personal growth to show others that we are prepared to take responsibility for our actions, and this will make us more respected by others.

How to complete this challenge?

If you have said something unkind to someone apologise to them. If you don’t feel like you can apologise in person to them you could write them a letter to say sorry.
You could even create a playlist for them, to help say sorry.

If you have been very nice this year and not said anything unkind then you can still take part by saying thank you to your friends and family who have supported you this year.
