Information, Advice and sources of support for young people in Suffolk

Advent 30 Day What's Up Challenge 6 - Donate a gift or toy that you no longer need to charity

Why is this good for your emotional health and wellbeing?

Donating a toy or gift to charity is such a great thing to do as you will make a difference to another child or young person’s life over Christmas. When we are giving something that makes someone happy this also makes us feel good about ourselves.

How to complete this challenge?

See what toys and games you no longer use or need, or you have out-grown, and take them to your local charity shop or Toy bank.

The below places are looking for toy donations:

New gift/toy donations accepted at:

Suffolk Libraries – All 45 libraries in Suffolk are happy to take in donations of brand-new quality toys. If you would like to make a toy donation, you have until Friday 8 December. For details visit the Suffolk Libraries website

Used toy donations accepted at:

The British Heart Foundation – You can donate bags or boxes of clothes, books, toys and smaller items, by dropping off your items at your local BHF shop or you can post your donated items to them for free
