Posted by on 14 July 2020

Do you know someone age 18 – 26 who is looking for a new opportunity?

Babylon Arts is searching for two young people to take part in a new professional development opportunity that runs from September to May in Ely.

The Babylon Young Curators programme offers training, skills development and support for those interested in a career in the creative industries.

The time commitment is approximately 1 day a week, and participants will receive a bursary of £1,650 for taking part in the programme.

To apply to be a Young Curator you need to be aged 18 to 26.

You don’t need any special qualifications, but you do need to be enthusiastic, able to put the time into developing your knowledge and skills, and have a passion for sharing your interests in visual arts with other people.

In relation to this programme the term ‘visual arts’ encompasses a wide range of artistic outputs such as photography, sculpture, drawing and painting, print, fashion and textiles, digital arts, virtual spaces and interactions, film and light installations.

If you know of a young person who may be interested please share these details and encourage them to get in touch.

The deadline for applications is Monday 10 August.
